For SEAJET 031, 036, 041, the maximum time is 6 months. For SEAJET 038 and SEAJET BIOCLEAN RX / RX PRO, the maximum time is 3 months.

Can I apply Seajet antifouling over my existing antifouling?

How many coats of primer do I need for osmosis protection?

2 coats of SEAJET 117 are recommended, with a total dry film thickness of 5 mils (225 micrometers).

Which antifouling can I use on my GRP hull?

You can use any bottom paint with primer for GRP hulls.

What should I do when the maximum immersion time has exceeded?

If the maximum immersion time has been exceeded, apply another coat of antifouling paint.

Which product is the best to use?

It depends on your needs. If you are keeping the boat out of water for a certain period, SEAJET 031 is suitable. For high antifouling performance, SEAJET 038 or 041 is recommended. If you want a slick surface with a silicone foul release system, SEAJET BIOCLEAN RX system is the best choice.

What is the best time to paint my boat?

A sunny day with light or no wind, humidity below 85%, and temperature above 41°F (5°C) is ideal for painting your boat.

What are the drying times and overcoating times between primer and antifouling?

Drying and overcoating times depend on the product. Please refer to the TDS for details: Technical Datasheets.

Can I thin my antifoul?

Antifoul is ready to use. In hot climates, thinning may help, but it might not be approved by local regulations. Please consult Seajet for guidance.

How to mix two-component products?

Stir the base and hardener well using a power tool, shaker, or stirring stick. Ensure they are mixed until the paint becomes homogeneous before application.
